Available Soon: Training Program for New Korean Overseas Teams

주재원
Over the years, the top question raised by BCW's global clients is:
What training do Korean teams receive before overseas' assignments?

The answer is that they receive little direct preparation. Many have worked for years to support overseas teams and projects, but few get any training. In some cases, once the new team member arrives at the assignment they follow accepted practices that worked well in Korea. Over time, they acquire new skills and local knowledge.

Recently many global teams have asked:
Do you offer a training program to support Koreans assigned to local subsidiaries?

Most often, I support the Korean teams informally.

I am happy to announce that BCW will soon release a new program : The American Workplace ( yes, versions are available for Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, too)

This program will give new Korean team members insights into EOE, ADA, Gender and Sexual Harassment, Interviewing Dos and Don'ts, and Workplace Empowerment. A section will also focus on localization including, background on the firm's milestones and insights into American auto marketing, R&D, sales, production, etc.

The goal of the program is to support Korean teams during the transition to their new assignment.

I will keep you posted on a Release Date. In the meantime, your feedback and input are appreciated.
