Kia Motors CEO Chung Eui-sun, left, and Georgia State Governor Sonny Perdue sign a memorandum of understanding on building the Korean automaker’s first U.S. plant in West Point, Georgia.. The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Hyundai-Kia Automotive Group in Seoul.

I've been following the project since August 2005. The new plant will be located near the Alabama-Georgia border . See Map
