Hangul Day

Saturday is a National Holiday in South Korea — Hangul Day. (As this year the holiday falls on weekend, Monday is celebrated a National Holiday, too). Hangul Day commemorates the invention and proclamation of  Hangul , the alphabet of the Korean language.
